Letter from the Circuit Superintendent : Rev Goodwin

Dear Church Street Members

Warm greetings to you from the ministerial staff in the Wynberg Circuit Office.

How wonderful it is for me to inform you that Rev Goodwin is back in Circuit and back on duty as of yesterday. He has had good conversations with the Bishop and myself on his return and I have filled him in as far as possible on the way we have structured communication and pastoral connection during this lockdown time.

Graham has some exciting plans for online Sunday Services and I know you will be very happy to have a Church Street Service of your very own to look forward to.

Obviously, being under lockdown as you receive a new minister is not “optimal” and makes for a unique set of circumstances. But it is absolutely wonderful to have Graham back in Circuit and I look forward to seeing the great fruit of his ministry and leadership at Church Street in the coming months.

I have loved having many of you connected to the Claremont and Kenilworth online ministry, and I’m sure some of you will remain connected to things like midday prayer. But if I don’t “see” you online again because your focus has shifted to supporting and developing the Church Street online ministry, please know that my thoughts and prayers remain with you and that I am cheering for you all the way!!

May our Saviour continue to bless and keep you always.
