Dear friends, This year we celebrate Holy Week in unusual and challenging circumstances. In the midst of the COVID19 lockdown we are unable to gather for worship and no doubt many of us are feeling somewhat disconnected. In order to help us to connect with the story of Holy Week and create moments for worship and reflection I will be posting online services and reflections during this time. I realise that not all of us have access to the internet and some of us, myself included, struggle to navigate some of the online platforms and so I would ask that those of us who are able to share this content with others in the congregation do so by forwarding the videos and messages where possible. I have created a website where I will be posting reflections and videos and you can access this content by going http://revgoodie.wixsite.com/csmethodist
Please visit the site where you can leave comments or make prayer requests using the “chat” feature. You can also subscribe to the blog post to receive new uploads directly via email.
You can also access these videos and reflections by going to the Church Street Methodist Facebook https://www.facebook.com/churchstreetmethodist
The “service” for Palm Sunday will be posted on Saturday night and will be available on Sunday morning. The service is about 20 minutes and I invite you to find some time on Sunday to engage and reflect. These posts will continue through Holy Week with the videos being posted around 7pm in the evening for the next day. During this time let us all do what we can to stay in touch with one another, you are free to contact me on 0610216616 via a call, sms or WhatsApp, or you can email me at revgoodie@outlook.com I am immensely grateful to be back in the circuit after a period of medical leave and thank you for your patience with me over this time. I look forward to serving with you and sharing in our journey of faith together. Blessings Graham 4 April 2020
